It’s been a while! And there are some new people here! Spencer and I wanted to re-introduce ourselves to you with a fun little interview. If you’re new around here, my name is Lizzy Dabczynski- Bean! I love cross-stitching and I am passionate about memory making + cherishing. I manage the design, stitching and customer service here at Stitch People. And Spencer, the bearded man you see above, is my husband. He’s in charge of our website, orders and online marketing! We’re so glad you’re here! Here’s a little more about us:

Lizzy: Im an ambitious, caring, happy, long-term restless, short-term content, creative, life enjoying, generally-up-for-anything animal lover.
Spencer: Curious, fun-loving, enthusiastic!
Who is your hero?
L: This is an excellent question for which I don’t have an answer.
S: Walt Disney
What is your favorite thing about your career?
L: The flexibility
S: The ability to go to extreme lengths to make people happy without worrying how a boss will react.
What was your first job?
L: Ben & Jerry’s Ice cream scooper
S: Newspaper route when I was 10
What’s your favorite color?
L: Gray- and it’s been my fav since before it was trendy too! Or green!
Waffles or pancakes?
L: Blueberry pancakes
S: Waffles, Please!
Books or movies?
S: Movies. I love seeing people’s interpretation of characters.
Spring or Fall?
L: FAALLLLL DUHHHHHHHH!!!
S: FALL, hands down. Love the colors!
Introvert or extrovert?
L: Extroverted introvert
S: Mix of both. I love people, but in small groups.
Sweet or salty?
L: Both 🙂
S: The older I get, the saltier I prefer. But moderation in all things, so I like to have a bit of both 🙂
Do it now or do it later?
S: Do it now. So much easier when you can just get it done!
Cats or dogs?
L: DOGS DUHHHHHH
What’s your favorite Christmas movie?
L: A Christmas story, White Christmas, and Elf. I also have a soft spot for the claymation ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town.’ Christmas wouldn’t be the same without each of these!
S: It’s a Wonderful Life
What was the last movie you saw and what did you think of it?
L: Trumbo. I really liked it. Interesting story and slice of history and perspective. Loved the historically accurate sets, costumes, etc.
S: The Light Between Oceans. It’s a beautiful movie, very compelling and heart-wrenching story, and acted so wonderfully. Michael Fassbender is incredible.
Do you have any nicknames?
L: Liz, Lizzy, Biz, Bizzy, Lizard, Lizinator, Bizzy-Boo, Bean, Hyphen
S: People sometimes call me ‘Bean’. Not super creative, but easy to say and remember 🙂
What’s your favorite zoo animal?
S: Oooh, this is a tough one. I’d have to say Sea Lions. They’re so athletic and fun to watch go in and out of the water
What’s your order at a coffee shop?
L: Steamed lemonade with herbal tea is my fav. Or something cold and chocolate-y
S: Warm milk with vanilla or hazelnut
Do you collect anything?
L: Memories 🙂
S: Memories. Cheesy, for sure, but it’s true.
What’s been your favorite year of your life so far?
L: Probably Freshman year of college. What a year! So much excitement and potential and friendship and silliness.
S: This one! Every year keeps getting better and better, so 2016 has definitely been my favorite year so far 🙂
