First of all we’d like to say thank you for joining us on the day! We can’t wait to meet you, learn all about you and most of all stitch with you.
Second, you’re probably curious about how the day will go. Here, we’re going to tell you everything you need to know to plan for the day so all you need to worry about when you arrive is having a good time.

What to bring with you
At the Stitch People Gathering, we’ll provide some things like treats to eat and a small kit but you may want to bring some things with you. Here ‘s a list of what we recommend:
- Your current project and/or projects you’d like to show everyone
- A couple of safely stored needles
- 1 frame or hoop in a size that’s not too bulky to carry
- 14 count Aida (as much as you like but pre-cut to fit your frame)
- Floss in black, white, skin (1 or 2 colors), hair (1 or 2 colors) and your favorite clothing colors
- Small scissors or a thread cutter (not your favorite scissors)
- A notepad and pencil
- A refillable water bottle
- Comfy and warm clothing
- A smile and a desire to learn

Staying at the Hyatt House? Here are some options to get from the Salt Lake City International Airport to the Hyatt House Provo / Pleasant Grove (544 South Pleasant Grove Blvd), which is a 5 minute walk from the Eleve Event Center.

Notes: Take the Green Line Trax from Airport Station to North Temple Bridge. Get on Frontrunner at North Temple Station, get off at American Fork Station. Take Uber or Lyft (about 10 minutes) to Hyatt House. Frontrunner leaves North Temple Station every hour beginning at 9:33 AM and leaves every half hour beginning at 2:33 PM (3:03, 3:33, etc.).
Fastest

Notes: Both Uber or Lyft can take four people in one ride, so if you have friends to carpool with this could break down to about $12 – $25 per person!

How to Book: Book online before you arrive to save money, or go to the rental car counters once you arrive at the airport.

Notes: Salt Lake City International Airport offers a variety of rental car providers and convenient access to rental car services. Rental car counters are located on the ground floor of the parking garage, directly across from the terminal buildings. For assistance, contact the airport ground transportation desks at (801) 575-2310 or (801) 575-2312.
Most car rental companies will charge between $63 and $102 for a three-day rental of an Economy or Compact car (from Friday 1/31 — Sunday 2/2).
Registration
Registration begins at 8.30am and ends promptly at 9.30am! When you arrive at the Eleve Event Center, you’ll see big signs pointing us out. All you need to do is come see us at the registration desk and give us your name!

Evening After Party
If you can’t get enough of the day (we don’t blame you) join us at Hyatt House at 5.30pm where we’ll be hosting an evening social get together. You can have drinks, snacks and pizza while you plan all your future Stitch People projects with all of the new friends you’ve made. Entry is $5 at the door.
